Our new draft horse team, Ted & April. This is their first time ever on a walking plow. They did a pretty good job.

20 spikes digging in the ground, do you mean a harrow? I’ve never seen a horse harrow, but the ones we use are essentially just iron bars with railroad spikes bolted onto them, used for breaking the clods and smoothing the surface of the field. But I would imagine a horse could pull more than 20 of them through the ground, at least the kind I’m thinking off. But if they’re just spikes, that might be it. Are they straight spikes, or are they have a curve in them?

What breed of horses do you use? You should post some videos of them working. Would like to see some of younger horsemen who can get things done.

You’re 11 and you plow with horses?! That’s amazing! I’ve farmed since I was a little kid, so that’s really cool that you do that. I think that would take quite a bit of strength. Do you have a walk behind plow, or can you sit on top of the implement?
