This is my horse, Zeke, taking off at a gallop. Sadly, I had to put him down because of an old injury before I bought him. Please visit mt tribute page. members.cox.net

Yes, I ride a Shire now. There are some other vids on my main page. We measure 4 inches per hand. Would be 1.82 meters

Thank you for your reply Traildraft! You are right, Brabanders and Vlaamse Trekpaarden are BIG horses. I love those gentle giants. We have many here. How big is 18 hands (metric)? You still have draft horses?

He was not very stocky like a Brabant or of the “hitch” type. he was a little over 18 hands. Yes, I do miss him greatly.

    Hi Traildraft!
So sorry you lost Zeke, he looked so gentle. I know what it is to loose a much loved animal. But are you sure he was a Belgian drawing horse? He looks very small, more like a Percheron. I am from Belgium and our horses are MUCH bigger and look different from yours, more robust and broader. If you are interested I can send you some pics!
    Best wishes, Anja.

WOW he’s a REALLY PRETTY Draft! Sorry you had to put him down. I know what it feels like, we had to put our Draft down because she was born with REALLY bad legs and one day she just couldn’t move!

Thank You for commenting. I miss him dearly. His tendons were so badly fuses together, the vet said he would have had a long and painful recovery.
