I have a tennessee walking horse that i have had for 4 years now and i wanted to train him to ride english….I know how to train him and all but i cant seem to find an english saddle that would fit him…I have been looking and almost all of them say “Not for wide horses”. I know they make them in a size that would fit him.I have seen Draft Horses with them. So….What would they be called?

Tamesis asked:

Would it be okay to own a heavy/draft horse (i.e. Cleysdale or Shire) and only ride it as pleasure riding, such as trails? I know they are built for work, and some people argue that they need the work (to keep muscles healthy), and that the horses look forward to it, but if I ride them often, won’t that keep them healthy?

Bobbi asked:

I have looked everywhere and there are several places where one can purchase temporary boots (instead of shoes) for regular size horse, but I cannot find a place to buy the same thing for draft horses…I do hope that someone has an idea of where I can look.
