I have a tennessee walking horse that i have had for 4 years now and i wanted to train him to ride english….I know how to train him and all but i cant seem to find an english saddle that would fit him…I have been looking and almost all of them say “Not for wide horses”. I know they make them in a size that would fit him.I have seen Draft Horses with them. So….What would they be called?

You should use an english pleasure saddle. They are used for gaited horses like Tennessee walkers and saddlebreds. I have 3 Tennessee walkers and I use Crosby saddles. Usually all the english pleasure saddles are flexible and fit most horse sizes. Ive never had a problem with saddle size when it comes to english pleasure saddles. I wouldn’t advise you using a hunter saddle because gaited horse don’t move right for an english saddle, you will be slipping around and feel awkward in it.
