What is the most expensive breed of draft horse?

Just curious?
Is it Shire, Belgium, Percheron, Clydesdale, Suffolk?
I have a purebred shire, and his price was pretty high…

it depends on the breeder, location, and pedigree.
i actually think Freisians (sp?) are the most expensive. i know they’re not on your list, but i know they are pretty pricey.

It does depend on what breeder it is and how pure its bloodlines are. Clydesdales and Shires can be very expensive especially if they’re already trained.

Depends on who you buy the horse from. The price is dependant upon the agreement between buyer and seller.

Gypsy Vanners are typically the most expensive draft breed.
Here is an example:
Those are only their fillies… their cheapest gelding is $10,000. @_@
They are beautiful horses, but definitely an expensive hobby.
Here’s some more info on the breed:
Thinking about getting one?

Out of those, it would depend on the bloodline and breeder, but I think the most expensive out of those would be the Clydesdale or Shire.
But personally, I think the Frisian is the most expensive draft horse. Because they are all black, which is more respected than a bay horse, for whatever reason. They are also used under saddle too, in Saddle Seat division. Usually three gaited park pleasure. I’m not sure about 5 gaited, I highly doubt it!
But here are some links on Frisians.
