i.WoNt.SaY.iT. asked:

Why can’t i find one? I recently learned of them and am very interested in the breed but, can’t find one. ANYWHERE. Is this breed becoming extinct? Does anybody know of a breeder or a horse of this breed for sale? I know all about the breed but can’t seem to find a horse in the flesh to even look at much less for sale.

    Have you tried Equine.com?
No, I’m pretty sure they’re not becoming extinct or anything lol…but they are a French breed and not VERY popular in the States. I know there must be a good number of them out there though, so keep looking! They’re pretty horses.

Check out “where to see a Boulonnais” towards the bottom. I found an American Boulonnais Society that mentioned buying shares in an imported mare. I have NO idea what that could mean!

I think you might have to trek over to France and import one, if you want to own one. They are absolutely stunning!
