My dad has been trying to sell a draft horse,?

draft horse
Tuggamamma asked:

do you think $750.00 is too much for a registered Belgium mare that is almost 5? She is broke to drive both single and double and is very gentle and loving.

She does need her feet trimmed though. Where could we go to get her sold? We put 500 in her to train her and would like to at least get 750.

Sounds fair. Just that draft horses are not cheap to feed. And with gas prices rising, the hay prices will rise and the grain prices too.
It’s harder to sell special breeds like that if there is no one in the area that likes them. Maybe you can train it briefly on how to be ridden. That might help the sale too.
    Good luck

sounds more than fair. the market is terrible right now but draft pulling is becoming very popular so if she has a good pedigree and is big boned i would list her as a pulling prospect becasue she is right around the age when they start trainign for pulling.
