I want to buy a draft horse, but i don’t know which breed is best. Like temperament, family horse, train ability.

Its very unlikely to come across a draft that isn’t good natured unless its been abused some time in its life. Percherons, Clydesdales, Shires, Belgians etc… all good!

Clydes are generally pretty mellow, to my knowledge. Percherons, Shires, Belgians, etc are all pretty easygoing. There are also some sport horses that are partbreds (warmblood or thoroughbred plus a draft horse), but they can be pricey. They are generally quite versatile, especially if you want to do any jumping, dressage, etc.

    Good luck.

Drafts are getting popular as riding horses but they don’t make the best as they have been bred to pull and with a different build than a horse that’s made to ride.
So if you plan on riding one then the choice is probably between something like a Clyde, Shire, Percheron or a Suffolk. Clydes tend to be harder keepers than the rest. My favorite would be a Percheron.
